Privacy policy
This policy explains how RoleWise handles personal data for website visitors, customers and candidates.
Who we are
RoleWise provides an AI platform for recruitment and employee intelligence. For website visitors we act as data controller. For candidate data processed on behalf of an employer, the employer is the controller and RoleWise is the processor.
What we collect
Contact details you submit through our forms, technical data such as IP address and browser type, and — for customers — account and billing information. Candidate conversation data is processed strictly under the employer's instructions.
Legal basis
We rely on legitimate interest for operating and securing the website, contract performance for delivering the service, and consent where required for marketing.
Where data is stored
Data is processed and stored in the UK or the EU, depending on the region selected at onboarding. Sub-processors are listed in our DPA.
Retention
Candidate data is retained for the period configured by the employer. Website enquiry data is deleted after 24 months unless a customer relationship exists.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact hello@rolewise.uk and we will respond within one month.
Automated decision-making
RoleWise does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. AI-generated insights are decision support and a human always makes the hiring decision.
